First point of contact: MyServices
Routine IT problems and requests should be submitted through the MyServices self-service portal.
- If you know the type of request, search for and select the best-fitting category.
- If you are unsure which category applies, select New Request.
- Describe the problem, its impact, when it began, and any troubleshooting already attempted. Include relevant error messages or screenshots, but never include a password or other secret.
For other ways to contact IT Services, including telephone, live chat, email, and in-person support, see the official UCL IT Help and Support page.
What happens after submission?
- The request is logged as a ticket.
- It is routed to the relevant IT support specialist.
- You can sign in to MyServices to track the ticket, provide further information, and read updates.
Keep the ticket number. It allows the support team and any escalation contact to find the request and understand what has already happened.
Escalation contacts
The contacts below are not the first point of contact. Contact them only when a request has already been raised through normal IT support and that process is not working—for example, a significant issue is stalled, routed incorrectly, or not receiving an appropriate response.
When escalating, include the MyServices ticket number, a short explanation of the impact, and why the normal support route has not resolved the problem.

Contact details and responsibilities can change. Check the official Faculty IT & Partnering people directory before escalating.
